Ed's Salvage, Inc. has been operating
in Ronkonkoma for over 25 years recycling waste paper and is well known
in the community for the excellent service provided to all their
clients. They provide different types of services to accommodate
each client dedicated to preserving the environment.
Ed's Salvage, Inc. is only in paper recycling, though there are other
ways to save our environment, such as recycling glass and plastic.
Individual town usually set up a recycling process, where these items
are picked up from your home or place of business. Here at Ed's
Salvage, Inc. office waste paper/corrugated are removed from a place of
business by a driver. Then delivered to their facility to start
the process of recycling.

Waste paper can be recycled to
recover its fiber content.
Recycled paper uses 60% less energy
than manufacturing new paper.
7500 trees are used for the Sunday edition of the
New York Times each week.
For every ton of paper recycled it saved 17
trees, 700 gallons of water, 3 cubic yards of landfill space,
4100KWH of energy and reduced air pollution by 60 pounds.
